POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month3 months agoA. Prickly heat (heat rash) is common in babies, especially in hot or humid weather. If your 14-month-old baby girl has red, itchy bumps or tiny blisters on her body, it's likely due to sweat getting trapped under the skin. To help, keep her skin cool and dry, dress her in loose, cotton clothes, and avoid overdressing. Bathe her in lukewarm water and avoid heavy creams or oils. You can apply a mild calamine lotion or baby powder (talc-free) to soothe the rash. If the rash worsens, looks infected, or doesn’t improve in a few days, consult your doctor.
