A. Try mamaearth rosemary hair oil and mamaearth rosemary hair shampoo. These are designed to control hair fall problems. Both the products are dermatologically tested and are safe to use as they are made up of only natural ingredients. Apply the oil before going to sleep, leave it overnight and wash in the morning with shampoo. Regularly following this routine will nourish the hair follicles and strengthen the roots of hairs which will be helpful in gaining hair volume naturally. Give it a try.

A. Postpartum hair loss is a common condition caused by hormonal changes after childbirth, typically peaking around 3-4 months postpartum. It can be distressing, but it’s usually temporary. Here are some tips to help manage and reduce hair fall: 1. Maintain a Healthy Diet: Protein-rich foods: Ensure you're eating enough protein, as hair is primarily made of keratin (a protein). Include lean meats, eggs, beans, nuts, and seeds. Iron-rich foods: Iron deficiency can contribute to hair loss. Include foods like leafy greens, legumes, and fortified cereals. Vitamins and minerals: Ensure you're getting adequate vitamins (especially Vitamin D, B-vitamins) and minerals (like zinc and biotin) through diet or supplements. 2. Gentle Hair Care: Avoid tight hairstyles: Pulling hair into tight buns or ponytails can weaken hair and cause breakage. Gentle washing: Wash hair with lukewarm water, and avoid vigorous towel-drying. Use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Minimize heat styling: Excessive use of heat can damage fragile hair. If you must use styling tools, apply a heat protectant first. 3. Scalp Care: Scalp massage: Gently massaging your scalp with your fingertips can improve circulation and promote healthy hair growth. Essential oils: Some studies suggest that oils like rosemary, peppermint, or lavender may help with hair regrowth. You can dilute them in a carrier oil and massage into your scalp. 4. Supplements: Prenatal vitamins: If you haven’t stopped taking them, continue with your prenatal vitamins, as they contain the nutrients necessary for hair health. Biotin or collagen supplements: These can help strengthen hair and improve growth, but consult your doctor before starting any new supplements. 5. Stress Management: Rest and relaxation: Hormonal changes, lack of sleep, and stress from caring for a newborn can contribute to hair loss. Ensure you’re finding time for rest, relaxation, and self-care. 6. Patience: Postpartum hair loss is often temporary, and hair usually starts growing back within 6-12 months. During this period, you may experience regrowth, but the texture may initially be different (like baby hairs or shorter strands). If your hair loss is severe, persistent, or accompanied by other symptoms like a rash or changes in your skin or nails, it's important to consult a healthcare professional or dermatologist. They can help rule out underlying issues such as thyroid imbalances, anemia, or other conditions.
