for cold you can give syp maxtra 2.5 ml to the child 2 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal blockage and simple cough and cold. indirect steam will also help.
go for home remedies like tulsi ginger diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
give warm water to drink
if no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear
A nasal wash can help remove mucus from your child's nose.
You can buy a saline spray at a drugstore or make one at home. To make one, use 1 cup (240 milliliters) of warm water, 1/2 teaspoon (3 grams) of salt, and a pinch of baking soda.
Use gentle saline nasal sprays 3 to 4 times per day.
