Please suggest a good cough syrup for 3yr old

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. cough and cold medicine is given according to the requirement and examination so do not give any medicine without medical consultation. if given without consultation coughing medicine can aggravate the problem. you can go for home remedies like tulsi ginger (honey is added when child is more than 1 year of age) combination which can be diluted with water and given frequently to the child. also you can give turmeric with dmilk one or two times everyday. give warm water to drink as well as nasal saline drops frequently. give warm diet try to prevent temperature variations around the child that is from hot to cold and cold to hot environment .

Cherricof is a good cough syrup that you can offer to the child as of now you can give it according to the current age of your child as well as the current weight according to the age it could be 3.5 ML twice in a day rest would completely depend on the current weight of your child
