#ParentingClinic #Constipation my baby is suffering from constipation hes 10 months old..dr prescribed him laxopeg fc syrup..m giving him since 2 months..if i stop it..again constipation problem starts..i m giving him papaya also apple also..lots of water also..what else can i do...is that medicine harmful for him??

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician5 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 10 months old and he is having a constipation since last two months,laxopeg fc is safe drug,give him oatmeal daily and fibre diet like dry fruits powder with milk and a teaspoon of ghee daily.

Manali K MehtaMom of a 9 yr 10 m old boy5 years agoA. hi mam please avoid medicine for constipation for long time to your child. your child is just nine months old so it is not safe for your child. you can give gentle massage with coconut oil on stomach area in clockwise direction. move your child legs in cycling motion and circular motion. please give more liquid diet like Dal water moong water tomato soup with small quantity of spices and ghee. you can give two table spoon warm water after every two hours. you can apply coconut oil on anus area.
