#ParentingClinic #BabySkinCare my 1 month old son has these red pimple like spots all over his face I think he feels itchy on his face due to which he is in a habit of scratching his face and injure himself with nails. also his face colour is darker than rest of his body colour. Please suggest.

A. Hi parent, it is common for babies to have acne like pimples on their face and it is due to mothers hormones being passed on in breastmilk. It clears up on it's own after few weeks and you dont need to do anything. Dont scrub baby face and apply the lost gentle soap and creams. As for the colour of baby's face please ignore such things because it doesn't matter in today's day and age and dont discriminate based on colour, love and support your baby and encourage everyone around you to change an concentrate on having a happy and healthy baby.
