Q.

#paediatrician my 11 months old girl got fever from yesterday night. Temperature around below 101 F. Current temperature is 100.3 F. Giving Calpol drop as per local doctor. But temperature is not going down below 100 F. What should I do? please reply.

A. kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having. whether higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p)are required or not willf be told by the doctor. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperatured of hundred or more is considered as fever do body sponge and give plenty of water to drink and easily digestible food.

A. hi you must inform your treating doctor regarding current health condition of your child please keep your child well hydrated rub onion slices on chest and back and sole of your child dress your child lightly keep your child in well vantileted room
