Q.

Our docter suggeted to start giving cow milk but only 200ml in a day. I feel it is very less as he takes around 750 ml formula in a day. So, wanted to take second advice. Is 200ml per day sufficient?

A. Hello good evening !! Generally below one year cow, buffalo, packet milk is not suggested as babies can't digest animals milk. So it's better to continue formula milk, breast milk untill one year along with semi solid, mashed foods. From one year onwards you can start,as cow milk is not easily digestible he might suggested less quantity but avoiding until one year is best, you can take second opinion from other paediatricians too

A. Absolutely not should be somewhere around 750 to 11 leader also I would like to tell you that you cannot give it to the child before completing the age of one year is not recommended to go ahead with giving any animal milk to the child
