Q.
Our daughter is 2 Years old but she cant speak any single word properly, neither she pay attention while calling her by name but she play with herself most and laugh loudly and wishper couple of letter like Mmm mmm Pup pup only , how can we help her in leaning speaking

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .hfl
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years off age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

Look I would just like to tell you to war three things your first of all if your child is always address by one name and get your child is not responding knowing that the names and that’s not good and if your calling with different names and you need to speak to 1 because you’re confusing the child second if your child is not responding to the things well enough not making an eye contact then it is a matter of fact that you need to consult a specialist immediately
