Q.

Our 8 weeks old baby’s right eye is watery and sticky. Is it normal?

A. I Your baby's watery eye should get better on its own in a few weeks, once  tear duct has opened up. You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by washing her eye with cooled boiled water. apply light pressure with your fingers on the side of your baby's nose, go down from top to bottom towards nostril. if doesn't improve in few weeks, consult paediatrician.

I I wouldn’t say it is normal I have read a lot of queries these days where parents are complaining of the same thing and I always say that you should just get a check with your doctor ones because watering eyes are sometimes normal but if there is taken as also then you definitely need to get it checked
