Q.

One of my friends baby (2years old) was playing with atarax anti - itch lotion, which they observed it later. They r not sure if she swallowed that lotion. Is it dangerous? . Please help with tips so that i can suggest her the same.

A. If small amount of lotion is swallowed, is that dangerous to baby?

A. even the topical solution of atarax will have certain ingredients which can cause drowsiness to the baby if you are in doubt better consultant paediatrician for proper evaluation of the baby

A. hi, yes,if a child has swallowed it then ,they should visit the pediatrician for it please ask them to be very careful while their child is playing. keep such stuffs out of reach from a child. observe a child for next 48 hours,if they notice symptoms like vomiting, dazziness, FeVer, breathing difficulty, unconsciousness etc then please visit nearest pediatrician immediately
