A. To ease the pain and swelling apply ice-packs gently on the site. This will help her counter the pain and soothe the inflammation. To do it the right way, take an ice-cube and rub it over your palms. Apply the cold icy water on the affected area by gently patting on the injection site. Remember directly rubbing an ice-cube on your baby s skin which is already inflamed can make the experience more painful than providing any relief.

A. Vaccination, fever and pain after vaccination us normal, apply ice pack around injection area if baby is crying due to pain, give paracetamol drops dose according to the weight of the baby if fever is coming, repeat the fuse after six hours. Keep feeding your baby well and try to make him sleep as the more he sleeps the faster he will recover

A. you can apply cold compress over the site of injection for a few minutes each time during the day. there is no ointment as such to reduce the swelling. It's natural and will reduce in its own. if baby gets fever or gets cranky due to the pain you can give paracetamol as per the dosage suggested by your Pediatrician.
