Q.

nirvvi is 3 yrs & 2 month older,for the past 2days she is coughing frequently.cause of her previous history of travelling inter city gve her ASCORIL,but she has no relief

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is therec paracetatmol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. Hello mom If it is happening very frequently with you baby you should definitely consult with yourpaediatrician and about it because your doctor can only advise you well after examining baby and having some blood test. You should not give any sort of medication to you baby till it is not advised by Dr Stay home stay safe
