newborn sleeping almost all the day

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 6 months agoA. yes newborns may sleep upto 18 - 20 hours a day . nothing to worry for . but you need to wake up the baby every 2 hourly for feeding .

Yes that’s what new ones do this leave for 10 to hours 15 hours sometimes 18 to 22 hours depending from child to child they can actually sleep for a really long duration which is common for them so you should try to feed your child every two hours that’s what the doctor suggest
