new borns r expected to b wrapped in 3 layers of cloth. till when we should maintain this wrap

not necessary .
but yes ,you can swaddle your baby till 6 months age.
you can use Cotton duptta or any good brand swaddle clothe like babyhug swaddle clothe which is specially designed for this.
