namaste...my baby is 45 days old ....first vaccine on her hand which is taken after birth now got some swelling...nd she is some uncomfortable...can I use paracetamol oral drops pls reply

A. yes when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection asite. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causesa of fever
