Q.

My younger son is 9 weeks old. he has not passed motion from 8 days. Is this normal. should I consult a doctor

A. a child can pass stoop once in 10 days or even 2- 3 times in a day as well...whenever the baby.poops just keep a check on the poop.

A. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day. If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool. No medicines needs to be given in such az case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard. It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age. intermittzent crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation.

A. hello the breastfeed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion for a week and if baby is not passing motion even after a week then you may check with your doctor and he will be able to advise you with a suppository that can help baby pass motion
