Q.
My wife is 37 weeks pregnant. Her AFI in recent sonography report is 6-8. Is it too low? What to do to increase it upto desirable level? Please help.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist6 years agoA. Amniotic fluid index of 8 is sufficient in a term pregnancy. AFI if less than 5 is oligohydromnios. All she can do is take lots of water,citrus fruits,coconut water.
