Q.

My wife has delivered a baby girl on 01-01-2022. and is on recovery path towards her health. what diet should she follow so that her body recovers in a phased manner as it should be ? Kindly guide .

A. congratulations..! she should have 4 to 5 Healthy meals. Consume more protein rich food, Include more Green vegetables ,Beet root, Carrot Tomato, Eggs, Millets , Mushroom , Dates, Nuts in diet. Fresh fruits, dairy products. Continue Calcium supplement which is with Vitamin D till she continue exclusive breastfeeding. Adequate fluids to stay hydrated which includes 2 to 3 liters per day.

A. thank you for reaching out to us with this question please note there are no diet restrictions for a breastfeeding mother she just need to make sure she's eating a well-balanced diet try to avoid any kind of junk food this focus on eating a well-balanced plate of protein carbohydrates good fats there is no need to avoid any particular ingredient unless you notice any kind of discomfort for the baby
