Q.

My two months old trying to sit straight when layed on lap. Is it normal.

A. yes it's fine you can make the child sit with support after completion of 5 months of age. the thing is that the back of the child should be well supported along with the head as well as the bottom of the child. after making the child sit if you see that the child is uncomfortable then kindly avoid sitting of the child again for at least one to two weeks

A. No it is not and you should not make your child sit with support even four seconds because this way you can actually damage the spine of the child which is why is not recommended to make the child sit with support even for sometime before completing the age of six months
