Q.

my twins girl and a boy are 5.5 years. both had a viral for a week and after a week again they both are having viral fever. can anybody help me what to do. i have seek to doctor they tested for typhoid but negative result. Dr said it's due to weather change. plz suggest me to help my kids in fever.

A. yes your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and azt least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

A. I can agree that it could be due to weather change with viral does not repeat that quickly and if it is repeating then I think you should get it tested for an infection also because sometimes due to some body infection the fever can repeat really quick
