My son who is 6 yrs old now, keeps chewing on whatever (mainly rubber and plastic) objects he gets. Is there a cause behind it? How do I get him out of this?

ExpertDr. Maitry Savla ShahPediatric Dentist8 years agoA. A. Hie.. Teething Continues till the last tooth erupts... Even adults do face teething... But since we don't bother much... N we have too many other things to focus on we don't realise it much... It is possible that his permanent teeth are erupting and hence he is facing the irritation... Don't b too aggressive in getting rid of the habit... introduce raw foods like slice of cucumber or papaya, carrots radish... etc...
