my son who is 10 years old is having bacterial infection in chest with wbc count of 15k . he started antibiotics since yesterday but fever still there . how long it takes for fever to subside and recover fully

Antibiotics are given to reduce down the infection fever takes its own time to reduce and that’s going to b 3-5 days as its is associated with infection and as the fever will start subsiding then the fever will also come down
