my son was down with fever n cough n doctor gave nebulizer 16 his cough is down now but he ve suggested Spiro test...what is it n how important is the test...he suggested it to most of the patient is it really necessary cz here for the test they are charging 6800 please help we ve some finincial issue also

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy9 months agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. This test is done to determine any kind of lungs issues. If the baby is having difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath or chest tightness and pain and pressure then the doctor can suggest to take this test. If you cannot afford in the hospital you can look for some government path labs or some charitable path labs near you who can do this test in a lesser amount.
