Q.

my son was 3 years 2 month old..he fell down and got hurt in his hand and doctor did xray and told fracture is there...doc putted him on plaster for one week....after a week he took xray again and fracture dint set well....doc recommended if we want then we can put plaster or leave it open....it will heal naturally...is it true or plaster is compulsory

A. Plaster is of course not compulsory but if you get it done it would be better you to understand kids are very hyperactive and keep running around then not going to keep their hand in a particular position so it is going to take longer time to heal but if you get a plaster done like a proper plaster it may take a less time and the bone connection would be better so I would suggest you to get a plaster done
