You might have offered him breatfeed to get him sleep, now he has become habitual of that. children often found it difficult to sleep on their own. So we have to teach them. make sure to put him in bad while he is awake but drowsy. as he had developed a habit of sleeping with feeding it might be difficult and he may resist but if you want him to sleep on his own you have to become little tough. there are many sleep training modules found on internet go though them and choose the one that suits you best.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Follow a consistent, calming bedtime routine. Overstimulation in the evening can make it difficult for your baby to settle to sleep. Try bathing, cuddling, singing, playing quiet music or reading, with a clearly defined end point when you leave the room. Begin these activities before your baby is overtired in a quiet, softly lit room.
Put your baby to bed drowsy, but awake. This will help your baby associate bed with the process of falling asleep. Remember to place your baby to sleep on his or her back, and clear the crib or bassinet of blankets and other soft items.
