Q.

My son passing loose motion from last week doctor prescribed zincolife syrup so I gave it for 4 days and he back to normal but yesterday he passed 5poops with mucus and the color of poop is combination of yellow and green... I'm so worried plz suggest

A. green poop in formulae feed baby is normal... but you should keep a watch on the consistency of the baby poop.. Green poop in exclusively breastfeed baby is a sign that he is not getting enough hind milk... so feed him for more time on each breast before switching the breast... atleast for 20-25 minutes in each side... keep a watch on the consistency of the poop... Also if the baby is having cold and cough or having iron drops then green poop is normal... if the poop is frothy then it is a sign of infections, then please consult the pediatrician immediately... . .
