Q.
My son now only started to speak few words. However, he couldn't make sentences. Though he understands what we speak with him, he yet not started speaking. Whenever I try to develop conversation with him, he doesn't show interest. but he concentrates on playing. what can I do? is it worrisome?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. this is ok at this. Speech is a process takes time to become proper . Initially only say some words . You should talk more with baby and decrease any type of screen time specially mobile screen and T. V. Also help of any speech therapist can be taken for same .
