Q.
My son is two years old.He has periodic coughing since last 3 months. He was initially given Montair LC kids for a month and he recovered with it. but after stopping, his periodic coughing started again. He gets a bout every 24-30 hours and absolutely no coughing in between. Everytime he starts coughing I give him Montair LC 2.5ml and stops coughing in next 30-45 mins. Anyone experiencing similar situation or any suggestion? Thanks

they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning.
requires examination and start anti allergic medicines.
meet dr and prevent such temperature variations.
there is a possibility of starting anti allezrgic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.
when allergies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent rzespiratory infections which needs other medicine
