Q.
my son is three months old,he is being suffering from nasal congestion,Although there is now little relief in nasal congestion .but now he has acquired cough .he has no cold or fewer etc.Also he is on breast feeding.but the often cuogh is irritating him and his sleep as well.please prescribe & suggest accordingly.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection.
kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough.
It will dissolve mucus in n nose and throat.
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

U Can you give a mixture of ginger juice and honey to your child to times in a day along with that also I’m going to advise you that you definitely should nebulise your child to times in a day that because nebulisation is also going to help a lot in clearing the congestion in chest and the thought of your child
