Q.
my son is suffering from constipation problem and after referring to a doctor, I gave him lactomed syrup twice in a day, even after 2 doses he is not passing his stools. can somebody help me by telling in how much time the syrup will show it's results?? or any other medicine or home made remedy that I can use for him to cure constipation

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested fhby doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but hit should be given only in medical supervision .
