Q.

My son is suffering from bloating and constipation since last 6 days and for that fever goes upto 103 in thermometer and doctor prescribe him sucral syrup with Livolok syrup... Fever has gone but he poop only when given Dulcoflex baby at his rectul with loboluk syrup..the medicinal course of Dulcoflex for 3 days has complete.. But he did not pool since 48 hours.. He is taking sucral and livoluk now. Is there amy worry.. Or you doctor suggest any medicine

A. Constipcation is usually a very common problem seen in many whegre the most important causative factor is decrease intake fiber rich diet along with lesser fluid intake. some food like junk food mostly containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition. here the diet modification should be tried first followed by medications like lactulose milk of magnesia and muout powder.
