Q.

My son is suffering from 101 fever.. giving him PCM.. please suggest if sponging can be done with cold or warm water

A. hi yes you can do tepid sponging with normal water not cold not warm to bring down the temperature cannot use cold water because sudden drop in temperature can cause shivering

A. definitely you can do sponging avoid giving a bath to the child until an unless it has been recommended by the doctor and use normal temperature water for giving a sponge bath to the baby
