ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. consistency of food should be like that of ghee about dal Ka Pani chawal Ka Pani give soft and mashed food you can begin with food like homemade Cerelac cereal pulse porridge Kheer cooked seasonal vegetable puree or add to food like Khichdi vegetable dal rice seasonal fruits curd paneer add Ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible beginning with few teaspoon give three times a day and up to half Katori every time continue to breastfeed baby.

Foods Which You Can Introduce to Your 6 Months Old Baby Breast milk or formula milk Mashed banana Stewed apple Well steamed and pureed vegetables like carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin , french beans Pulse soup (moong dal ka pani) Rice Water (Chawal ka pani) Homemade single-grain cereals like rice, barley, oats mixed with breastmilk or formula milk Steamed and pureed fruits like pear, avocado, peach, chikoo. You can try the homemade vegetable soup for your baby.
