Q.

my son is one year old.... he is suffering from fever almost every month... what is your advice?

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold husponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . v Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. Get a blood test done for your child as that is only going to give you a clarity on the situation because every child is suffering with fever every man that means your child certainly going to some infection which is not getting cured properly choose whether the cross check with your doctor on that
