Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6x or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequencyx as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining xwhile passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Breastfed babies often pass more than 6 stools per day. Until 2 months of age, they may pass a stool after each feeding. But, if stools suddenly increase in number and looseness, suspect diarrhea. If it lasts for 3 or more stools, the baby has diarrhea.
