my son is one and half year old.. he is very active in motor and sensory development.. but till now his language development is delayed.. he is using single words like baba,aa,boom, without meaning.. is it normal for this age?

and at 2 to 3 yrs start speaking
keep encouraging the baby more and more..
break the words and sentences and let the baby repeat after you
let the baby mingle same age groups
