Q.

My son is of 3 years old and he is suffering from stomach pain since one week and after going USG scan we came to know that his appendix is slightly swollen to 6.2mm size. Doctor gave some antibiotics for 5 days and if symptoms persist doctor told he may need appendicitis surgery. But after giving antibiotics for 2 days he is not complaining of stomach pain as before. Could you please let me know doctor whether he need surgery or whether he recover from antibiotics as we are more worried.

A. Hello this requires a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too and better to go as advised by your doctor
