Constipation  is a problem where there is difficulty in passing the stools and it could be very hard leading to sometimes injury and it becomes a chronic condition in most of the cases if not treated properly . 
most important thing is a proper diet with good fibre and plenty of liquids . Also avoidance of food which can aggravate the condition  like Banana excess of milk and food wnhith maida and junk .
medications should be given like lactulose or polyethylene glycol but only in guidance with the doctor. 
In emergency situation glycerine suppository or enema is useful.

Constipation is very common in babies in such case you should add more fiber food in babies regular diet plan. And you should start giving papaya and pineapple regularly. You should also be 1 teaspoon of honey with warm water once in a day it will help in maintaining babies digestion issues
