#Supermom My son is now a year old with 5 Teeth. He eats almost everything in a mashed form. When should I start brushing his teeth abd do I use paste? My worry is that he cannot gargle what if he eats the toothpaste how to wash the inside of his mouth?

Dr Rashmi SriramGuardian of a 9 yr 5 m old girl6 years agoA. Hi, it is better to start brushing. You can uinitially use finger brush and plain water to brush the teeth. If needed children toothpaste can be used. Do not use adult toothpaste as it can cause flurosis
