Q.

My son is now 3 months old and I'm tested positive for covid and I'm a breast feeding mom. Can I feed to my baby. Is it effect to my son. Is there any chances to get covid to my son.

A. Hello dear parent! COVID doesn’t pass on through breastfeeding. As per guidelines you can continue breastfeeding your baby well by following all the precautionary measures like wearing mask and hand sanitisation. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding. Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor, if any.
