Q.

My son is now 1 year 5 months old, there are some black dry patches appeared on the back and chest area, it feels rough while touching. please anyone confirm what it is and suggest some home remedies to treat.

A. need further examination to get the evaluation done. Apply a thin coat of a healing ointment like petroleum jelly...don't rub. If the rash is cracked, weepy, or causing your baby pain Consult your paedritician.
