Q.

My son is now 1 year 5 months old but still he didn't eating well . I do no why and what food had to be given for healthy weight gain . Now he is 10 kg

A. Mostly, toddlers are fussy and picky eaters and therefore it is important to mix variety of foods so that maximum nutrition can be given even in smaller quantities. For healthy weight gain, include fat and protein rich foods like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, eggs, chicken, banana, avocado and 550-600 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids.
