Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Dandruff is mostly because of dead skin over the scalp which can lead to itchy skin . It could be because of some pathological conditions too.
Common causes are improper shampooing malnutrition fungal growth sensitivity to hair products sebbohrrhoic dermatitis .
Proper care is required with medicated shampoo maintain a good hygiene and proper rhydration .
Consult a doctor for more severe condition .

just apply some oil on the head and if still you see this white patches then consult with the doctor once.
but I think there is nothing to worry about
if it is cradle cap it will go on its own and do not scratch it.
keep the baby well hydrated with breast milk
