Q.

my son is diagnosed with 3mm stone in gallbladder. can I know what type of foods I should give & what type of foods I should avoid plz?? he is 5yrs old, 14kgs weight with 104cms height

A. Namaste Mom, Though diet alone cannot dissolve the stones as such , but it can help in managing the condition and reduce the symptoms as such. low fat diet is necessary , so avoid fried foods, meat , butter , processed foods as such, though healthy fats can be included in form of fish , nuts and seeds etc next is high fibre diet , present mainly in seasonal fruits and vegetables, helps to reduce the formation of stones give small meals and regular intervals, and fluids mainly water
