My son is almost 9 months old but is not making consonant sounds. Occasionally he makes 'ma' or 'ba' sound but mostly only 'aa'. Is this normal ?

A. Hi ma’am some kids start to speak late may b he’ll take some more time to speak properly. I don’t think u should b worried now but still u r not satisfied then do consult a doc please .

Q. My baby is 9 months and 10 days old. He is very active and playful. Always smiling and laughing. He interacts well with us. But he doesn't make the consonant babbling sound yet. I know he can make them as I have heard him say mah, bah, gah like sounds before. But on a regular basis he doesn't make sounds like ba-ba or ma-ma.
