Q.
my son is 8 years. for last 2 months he had cough n cold .. doctor is saying stop all the medicine n steam him n let him do gargles. now from last 2 days my son is saying he has headache in left side... thn agsin I call doctor she is saying give him paracetamol.. I gave him... but again if he will say about headache .. what should I do .??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
alhuong with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symhptoms.

With constant cold and cough headache is bound to habit it is not only with kids with the adult sometimes you see the body will also pain specially the area of the shoulder so I would just say that give a nice hot bath to the child that is also going to help and for headache you can apply some Balm onto the head of the child
