Q.

my son is 6weeks and is vaccinated on 4th Feb and had fever for 2 days and 3rd day he did not have fever but today again he got fever and today is the 4th day is it normal?

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefxenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doxctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. hello of fever is more then it 8s better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe .. if mild can wait for a day or two with paracetamol and see
