Q.

My son is 6 months old. For the past 7 days he has had loose motion. He is active, sometimes cranky, passes watery stools about 5 to 6 times a day. The child specialist has advised starting antibiotics. Should I give antibiotics?” solids not yet started

A. Teething could be happening with your child and which is why your child is cranky lose motions can also be associated with that so don’t jump on giving the antibiotics even I’ll agree with you on that part so first get a test done for your child check what is the problem and then you give medicine if there’s an infection or something then it is justified otherwise there is no need to give antibiotics to such a small child
