A. When introducing daal pani (lentil soup) to a 6-month-old baby, it's important to start with small amounts and gradually increase as your baby becomes accustomed to solids. Here's a general guideline: 1. Begin with a very small serving, such as 1-2 teaspoons of daal pani. 2. Monitor your baby's reaction to ensure they tolerate it well and don't show signs of allergies or digestive issues. 3. If your baby is comfortable with it, you can gradually increase the serving size over several days or weeks, depending on your baby's cues and preferences. It's crucial to consult with your pediatrician before introducing new foods to your baby's diet. They can provide specific guidance based on your baby's development, any potential allergies, and individual needs. Additionally, always ensure that the daal pani is prepared in a baby-friendly manner, with no added spices, salt, or sugar, and that it has an appropriate consistency for your baby's age and ability to swallow.
